This site talks about ethical communication from the aspect of small groups. It describes ethical communication as,"communication that enhances human worth and dignity by fostering truthfulness, fairness, responsibility, personal integrity, and respect for self and other."
From the perspective of students ethics is mainly what someone should do when confronted with problems with assignments. In a group if one person does not complete their part of the assignment what should they do? Tell the truth or make up an excuse? Ethics helps people make the right decisions when encountering such dilemmas.
